AESTHETIC SURGERY

Whatever your reasons for moving towards aesthetic surgery, it is important to have realistic expectations. Objective of cosmetic surgery?

At first, its main goal was to help people correct physical deformities from birth or accidents following war. Throughout the years, cosmetic surgery has evolved and its predominant aim is to focus more on the physical aspects of beauty and making the face and body pleasing to the eye. This is due to the growing demand from women and men.

At the very beginning of cosmetic surgery

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, cosmetic surgery has been around for 4,000 years. There is documented evidence of medical treatments for facial injuries. In 800 BC. In 5000 BC, Indian doctors also performed reconstructive procedures with skin grafts. The first plastic surgeon was an American doctor named John Peter Mettauer. His first cosmetic operation was a reconstructive surgery for a cleft lip in 1827. The amazing thing about this particular procedure is that the instruments he used were hand-made by himself.
